Paws on the Pavement Inaugural 5K

Only 4 days until the inaugural Paws on the Pavement Inaugural 5K run/walk!  The race will begin at 8AM on Saturday, May 19th at Marty Snook Park in Halfway.

for the pre-registration rate click here.  Price is $20 and day of registration begins at 7:00 AM and is $25.

Puggle Finds his way home after a month

When Laurie and Scott Summers of Martinsburg, WV came home to find their 7 year old puggle Marino had escaped when their front door blew open they had no way of knowing they wouldn’t see him for weeks.  Nor would they have dreamed they would find him in Hagerstown, MD at the Humane Society of Washington County, Inc.

Molly, a Great Pup by Golly

In June of last year, the Owens family adopted a puppy who we first met at the sidewalk adoption event at the Amish Market. She is a beagle/dachshund mix who the HSWC named Dewdrop. Find out how Dewdrop, now named Molly is doing with her new forever family.
