FEES WAIVED FOR CATS TO GO "HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS"

The Humane Society of Washington County is waiving cat adoption fees for the remainder of the year in an effort to send all cats “home for the holidays.”

“There is no better place for our felines to have a ‘wonderful life’ than home,” Adoptions Supervisor Cathy Jacques said. “We are hoping that all of our adoptable cats can spend the holidays with their new families!”

Cat adoption fees will be waived through December 31st.

Pictures of all adoptable cats can be found on the shelter website, hswcmd.org. Adoptable animals have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given worm and flea preventatives prior to being placed up for adoption. The HSWC also provides adopters with a complimentary health visit at a participating veterinarian, as well as an option for 30 days of free health insurance for their new family member. These services are valued at nearly $450.
