HSWC Celebrates 95 Years with Roaring Twenties Gala

The Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year. Because the shelter opened in 1921 at the cusp of such a historical decade, they are hosting a “Roaring Twenties” themed gala on October 22.

The gala, which will be held at Fountain Head Country Club, will serve as a fundraiser for the HSWC. The evening will include a cocktail hour and dinner, as well as special appearances by some legendary icons of the Twenties. In addition to drinking and gambling in true “Roaring Twenties” fashion, there will be entertainment, time-period dancers and a silent auction.

The HSWC is thrilled to announce that Antietam Cable is the Top Hat sponsor for this event.

“The Humane Society of Washington County provides care and treatment to animals needing protection, attempts to find homes for homeless animals, reunites lost pets with their families, and so much more,” said Brian Lynch, President and General Manager of Antietam Cable.

“Antietam Cable is very pleased to support this important work that affords safety and comfort to our animal friends.”
