National Kitten Coalition to Host Workshop at HSWC
The National Kitten Coalition will be hosting a workshop on the basic care and feeding of bottle baby kittens at the Humane Society of Washington County on Wednesday, May 3rd from 10 am – noon.
This workshop, which is open to the public, animal shelters, and rescues, will teach the proper care, health assessment, and feeding of bottle baby kittens including common concerns about a single kitten or combining kittens, as well as information on cleaning and necessary supplies.
“Bottle fed kittens require the most one-on-one care of all shelter animals. We are hosting this training to provide knowledge to residents, other shelters, and rescues so we may collaborate to care for and save these delicate lives,” stated Kathleen Cornell, Director of Operations.
Anyone interested in attending must email firstname.lastname@example.org by April 24, 2017. This is a free event; space is limited and requires an RSVP.
The National Kitten Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing survival rates of rescued kittens. The workshop will be conducted with generous funding from Maddie’s Fund.
Snacks and beverages will be supplied at the event. The shelter is located at 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown.
