HSWC Announces Dates for 2019 Low Cost Rabies Clinics

The Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) has announced dates for the 2019 Washington County Low Cost Rabies Vaccination, Microchip and Licensing Clinics. The clinics, two offsite and one at HSWC, provide an important service to the community by offering an opportunity for area residents to protect their animals against a highly infectious and dangerous disease. HSWC To Host 3rd Annual Kitten Shower

The Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) is hosting its third annual month-long “kitten shower” (a play on the traditional baby shower) to prepare for the fast approaching newborn kitten season. Wanted: Barn Cat Adopters!

As an open admissions shelter, HSWC regularly receives cats that are unsocial and not the best candidates for a traditional adoption situation. While they would not likely do well living inside a home, these cats still deserve a fulfilling life and a “home” of their own!
